Expressionism

My natural artstyle has slowly gravitated to an expressionist style, with a love of bold colours, thick strokes and exploration of form as emotional values over trying to accurately represent an image.

Above is my instagram digital art series; all were created with photoshop and digital pen tablet. Some had initial sketches done in pencil first, all are an exploration on both visual and emotional concepts.

Above is my painting series, tentatively titled "Ambiguphobic", and were created with acrylic on canvas, brush and palette knife. This was initially an experimental series, that I may revisit in the future. However although this series is a lot more obviously created as a singular piece compared to my previous work, it is still deeply connected to the same themes with expressionist imagery as the mode of exploration towards emotional concepts.
